The Tanning Game
As my countrymen are not into tanning unlike Americans, tanning lotions are not a common thing where I am. If ever, tanning lotions are as foreign as Martians are on earth here in my country. So I don’t give much thought to this product.
What I didn’t know was that it is such a big industry in other places. Aside from the beauty part of tanning, white people use tanning lotion so that they will not easily be burned when they are exposed to the sun. We all know that white people have less melanin in their skin so they are easily burned. But I never really gave it a thought until I found a lot of tanning lotion reviews online! I mean a real lot!
That is because almost ever white person uses tanning lotion and it is important for them to know the product they are using. Cool. I did not know that. If I sold tanning lotions here, I would surely go bankrupt!

We Pinoys and other Asians are naturally tanned because we are blessed by natural pigmentation unlike Caucasians who have to expose themselves under the sun to have a natural tan. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

I have spent so much money on tanning lotion it is not even funny and yes I am a vanilla white girl so I need it to not burn
Indeed, in the U.S., it is a beauty regimen. SOme even go to tanning salons just to get that desired skin tone. I think natural ways are better but somehow the heat of the sun nowadays is just too much! Nice post!
I am a Half-Filipino and Half-American, so I don’t usually need tanning lotion. What I need is a sunblock lotion. Thanks for sharing anyways!
Yes unfortunately we need to use sun tan lotion all the time otherwise we will get burnt and increase the chances of getting skin cancer. A lot of people use fake tan products nowadays so they don’t have to spend hours lying in the sun.
