On Taho and Arthritis
I love having that local drink called “taho” which is made of soft or silken tofu, brown sugar, vanilla syrup and pearl tapioca. It’s so delicious and is even filling that’s why some people take it in the mornings. However, just as in most things, too much of it can be bad to one’s health too.
In fact, excessive intake of food with tofu can cause arthritis. As much as possible, I don’t want to have to experience that. I know someone who has it and she says it can be very painful especially when the joints are heavily inflamed. One can always look for an arthritis pain relief but the problem is whether or not it would be effective and if it doesn’t cost too much.
Relieving arthritis is something that’s a tad difficult to do and I know how much people who have it suffer. Bottom line is, even if the taho is very delicious, it still needs to be taken in moderation.

Ay naku masakit ang arthritis. I should know since I am now walking with a limp because of arthritis in my knees. Masakit ito lalo na sa cold weather. I have been taking strong pain reliever to no avail. Ingat lang sa kinakain natin. Ang excess
uric acid will cause arthritis. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
I love eating Taho!
The first time I tasted one was 6 years ago. Not that long although the food is already known long time ago. At first I’m awkward to taste it but I find it very yummy to taste especially the pearl tapioca which is my favorite.
I’ve been a fan of taho since I was a child. I hope I won’t have to give it up because of arthritis.
i feel like im gonna need this kasi inaathritis na yata kamay ko sa kakablog
It is because “soybeans” is “taho’s” main ingredient, soy is a culprit for arthritis.
Waa! fav ko pa naman taho sa umaga
i am glad that i don’t like tofu
