Not the Cashier’s Fault
A few weeks ago, I went to the grocery store to buy some immediate needs for the children. While I was already falling in line at one of the cashiers, I can’t help to notice that our line was slowly moving. When I looked at the cashier, she was having a hard time scanning the barcodes of the items being purchased. So I thought to myself, of the grocery store used the best barcode scanner, they wouldn’t have problems like this – a line of annoyed and angry customers waiting for their turn to pay.
Well, I wasn’t angry that is for sure but I was annoyed… not with the cashier but with the customers complaining non-stop. Couldn’t they understand? It is not the cashier’s fault and they don’t have to pressure the employee!

It happens all the time. Sometimes, they do it manually when the bar code scanner really don’t work for minutes.
uso pa nga ang abacus sa ibang maliliit na store hehe. having a suckishly bar code scanner nakakadelay sa linya
People should be nicer to employees and realize that when things go wrong it’s not always their fault. Following back from the hop. Thanks for checking out my blog! At the library I work for, we use barcode scanners for the books, so I do understand the predicament of those cashiers. I would gladly smack one of those customers in the face for their impatience.
Do not worry because it happens many times and be careful for the next time..
