More Maintenance
The higher you go in the social ladder the more maintenance you need. Well sometimes, it is not really a need as for survival but something that has to be done in order to be done.
Like for example, wives of distinguished gentlemen have to look their best always because you never know when you are due for a photo shoot. In their offices, corporate giants have several bottles of wine stored in a cabinet not because they drink at work but because they sometimes have to offer them to clients. I have seen in movies that some of them keep a box of Padron cigars in their drawer so that they can open it anytime for a guest who would like to smoke one.
It is sometimes nice to just look into the lifestyles of these important people and learn how they go about their lives. Looking at how complicated these social protocols can become, I think I would rather just stick to being a simple person who live in the world. At least, I don’t need a lot of maintenance in order to survive.
