Daily Vitamins

Written on November 14, 2010 – 3:15 pm | by Mommy Rubz |

Our bodies need our daily dose of vitamins to keep them running smoothly and efficiently. Vitamins are food for the body and mind. It is good to take vitamin supplements because our foods are no longer as nutritious as they were like 20 years ago because of the depletion of the nutrients of our soil. So no matter how we eat nutritious foods, these are not enough to give us the nutrients that we need.

In America, people have long been enjoying those one a day vitamins that are complete of essential nutrients that our bodies need. There are vitamins for men and for women. These are specialized because men and women have different nutritional needs. Here in the Philippines, those complete vitamins were only introduced only about a decade ago. And the gender specific vitamins were not introduced until this decade. Maybe it is because times are hard here that if we can just avoid taking vitamins, we would and instead take coffee for an energy boost.

  1. Yes, we need our daily vitamins to keep us strong and healthy and to prevent sickness from setting into our bodies. As they say, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. It’s true that it’s important to take the daily dose of vitamins. But nowadays, vitamins or other health products are expensive. Maybe people realise its impotance and thus, when the demand is in, the prices soar.

Daily vitamins is very important nowadays. Vitamins that could help us stronger, healthier, avoid severe illness or could boost our immune system. Personally, just a sort of advice, consult your Doctor or Nutritionist first and ask for a recommendation of what vitamins is/are best for you.

You don’t need to take those manufactured vitamins. Consuming cheap vegetable available in the market there will improve your health significantly! You would regret it here in the U.S., where vegetables are kind of expensive.
