Choose Clothing Wisely
I must be getting old. That may be the reason why I can’t understand the clothing style of young ones nowadays. I see very young girls wearing clothes fit only for teenagers. Then I see young boys wearing hip hop clothes which are sometimes way too big for them! I don’t really have anything against these kids. It’s just that I think kids should dress up according to their age.
Although I give my kids freedom to choose the clothes they want when we go shopping, I still have the final say because as much as possible, I want them to wear clothes which befits them perfectly, style-wise and age-wise.
There’s nothing wrong with experimentation. In fact, it’s encouraged. But the thing is those given the freedom to be a tad experimental should know their limits and strive not to go overboard. That goes for everything, especially clothing because oftentimes, the clothes one wears define his personality.

i agree with you Mommy Rubz. i always tell my kids that even though it’s a fad, it does not mean that you will look good at it. i will allow them to use fad clothes if i think it suits them but if not, forget it ahaha

I was once a fan of hip hop clothes during my younger years. It’s because of what’s the latest trends but because of comfortableness.
I hate that kind of fashion,parang laging may luslos!
