Mobile Phones

Tuesday, January 31st, 2012 |

It is one thing to buy your mobile phone. Usually it is done by going to the physical store and buying after rummaging through so many. Choosing a place where there are lots of stores competing with each other is a good starting point. That way, vendors do everything they can to catch the buyer’s attention. While it is wise to be able to get the most out of your money, going for the unit that is known to be stable and durable is what you have to focus on. If the features you need are all there and the price is a little higher than your set budget then you can try to haggle with the price. If they do not give it, go to the next store until you find someone who will give it to you. It takes a effort and time and energy to be able to get the right mobile phone.

Why stable and durable? An electronic gadget easily malfunctions when dropped, accidental or not. Going for durable and stable units will make it feasible to use it longer. If you think you want a different look so your phone would look new then you can buy mobile phone accessories like several housing designs of your specific phone unit. You can have several colors to match your apparel for the day. Or you can have several designs of your favorite color. Mine is pink! I actually I have an LG unit so LG mobile accessories will be one place for me to spend my time scouting for some items I would need. While scouting for my needs, I will also check what hubby would want so that I can have all the items delivered at the same time. It is just frustrating to wait another time for something I could have earlier.

The Four Corners Of The World In One Place

Friday, January 27th, 2012 |

Looking back several decades ago, the only way anyone can contact each other who are living at the opposite sides of the earth is through snail mail. It was not even called snail mail then. There was deep excitement whenever the postman arrives and people who are expecting a letter are ready with a new one for them to send out. Communication got a bit faster when the telegram was invented. It was quite expensive as you are billed per word. All the niceties are gone, just the plain message, usually of emergencies. Now, with the emergence of web conferencing, the four corners of the world can meet at the same moment. That’s technology.

Good News to Pearl Lovers

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 |

Shopping for dress is not without stress. All the details, from shoes to glitters and dangles to go with it, need to be perfect. Here is where I start to tell the love affair of girls and pearls. Jewelry-making is certainly an ancient art form. Now here’s my guiltless indulgence, shared and none spared. Wide variety of materials like gemstones to ordinary stones and other pieces were used to adorn women across cultures, and ages. Making precious jewelry requires precious stones that had been formed in perfect environment for a long period of time. The limited resources and the high price placed on these stones makes for a very expensive jewelry not every woman can afford. Man can now mass-produce processed gemstones. Thanks to the advancement in technology, almost all gemstones are now being cultivated in the laboratory with the exception of pearls. They are cultivated outdoor! Although they resemble their natural counterpart in properties and form, they are not as expensive. Good news for those who are eyeing cultured pearl necklace to go with a nice new dress.

Thanks to Diva Fabulosa, an awesome fashion blog, who gave me pearls from Palawan Island. Thank you so much Mommy Jade!! Check out her other awesome blogs:  Gowns and HeelsBeauty and Fashion DivaHealth and Beauty DivaThe Pinay BloggerOnline ChikadoraPinay Jade and Momma Finally!!

Hip and Cool Scrub Tops

Thursday, January 19th, 2012 |

I did not finish a medical degree, but many times I really admire nurses wearing those dainty uniforms they have. Of course those used-to-be white uniforms have evolved into more modern-looking scrubs, which I equally love as well.

In more modern hospitals, nurses are free to choose their cloth for their scrub tops. What they choose would depend on what section or department they are assigned to. Nurses working with sick children most likely would have scrubs with playful colors, some of them might have children’s favorite cartoon character printed on them.

There is actually a huge demand for nurses in other countries, and they offer good pay, too. I don’t know if it’s too late for me to pursue a nursing career?

New House, New Stuff, New Life

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 |

When you have a new house, it would also be nice to have new furniture, appliances, kitchen utensils, and of course linens like those from p kaufmann.

Some people just re-use their old stuff so that they can save money. But sometimes, it would also be nice to start anew in a newly-built house because then you can leave your past behind, especially if you have bad memories.

Starting a new life with the new things promises a new lease for a brighter tomorrow. And even if you do not have a new house, changing stuff during the changing of a season can already offer a fresh start.

Before Buying A House

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 |

When you buy a house to live in, that means you wanted to move away from your current one. There are several reasons that drive people out of their current home, which, among them, is buying a new one. You are probably renting right now so you finally decided you can actually buy your own which results to a cheaper expense in the long run because you have a real estate in as your asset and not mere rental receipts.

Before you decide on buying a specific house, though, there are several things you have to consider so that you will be aware of your purchase and whatever bat thing happens in the future, there is none other to blame but yourself. If the result is good, though, you can also thank yourself.

Location. You buy the location, first and foremost. What does the location offer? Are your everyday needs going to be met by the location like going to school (for your children), how far will the school be? Is public transport available? How far is the market or the grocery store? How far is your or your mate’s work area? Is the distance bearable for everyday travel? How about hospitals? When medical emergency happens, how far is the nearest hospital? In case of fire, how far will the firetruck travel? If you are fond of weekly entertainment, does the location provide some to your liking? For your spiritual growth, is the church you go to available? If not, are you willing to travel the distance to go to your church organization? How hot or cold is the location during different months of the year? Do plants actually grow? Can you make your own garden and actually succeed? Is the location free from flooding (especially flash flooding)?

Check to see if Fort Collins real estate is for you. You can also take a look at Longmont CO Real Estate. If you find them fit for you, then you can choose your house.

Having a Job – That is All That Matters

Monday, January 2nd, 2012 |

Times are really hard that people could no longer afford to be choosy when it comes to job hunting. Now, it doesn’t matter if you are a manager or a supervisor, the important thing is that you have a job.

Like in America, 79 Kmart and Sears stores closed after the holidays because of low sales. You can just imagine how many people will be displaced, right?

Perhaps the most common positions that you will get nowadays are server jobs or System Support & Documentation Jobs. It does not matter. As long as that job can put food on the table, take it. Otherwise, you will soon find yourself begging for alms, especially if you do not have a trust fund.
