I don’t have photos of my older children from any of our grocery escapades but I got a few shots of our Baby Bella Grace. I took this pictures because this is the first grocery cart ride of our precious little one.
I am really fascinated by other countries because almost everything can be insured. I remember hearing news that Jennifer Lopez had her buttocks insured and also about my friend’s blog post that she bought a 5th wheel insurance for their motorhome.
That is why it made me wonder, why insurance business in our country is not selling like hotcakes like other countries. It made me think that most of my countrymen prefer buying tangible items rather than intangible ones. They prefer to invest in home appliances, houses, cars, jewelries and others rather than educational insurance, medical insurance, life insurance and others. I think they prefer things they could touch because it makes them comfortable while documents made them feel unsecured. What do you think?
I really wanted to lose weight that is why to prove my desire to slim down (my tummy particularly), I bought myself a bathroom scale a few weeks ago. This bathroom scale will symbolize my effort to try losing weight! This will also remind me that I badly need to do regular sit-ups and walkathons to shed some unwanted stored fats!
Anyway, I haven’t started with my goals yet that is why I am not yet seeing my bathroom scale for awhile now. LOL!
My desktop computer is now approaching three years old this coming November 2010. So far it is still functioning but most of the time it runs slow and hangs thereby slowing me up with my online work load.
So, I am planning to buy a new desktop computer with a much higher specs compared to what I have now. That is why I am reading computer reviews to help me decide what new specifications I am going to buy that will suit my current needs.
Anyway, I am hoping that once I get the right specs, I could also find the right computer store where to buy it affordably! Wish me luck!
Having three children with our current economic status is not easy. There are times that my children (particularly the older ones) ask me for wants. They asks me for toys, arcade gaming, petty little stuffs and many more. Sometimes, I feel so sad inside that most of the time I couldn’t give them what they wanted. I always try to explain in all honesty why I am not able to buy what they asked for me. Most of the time, they understand me and there are times they said they do understand but go with an unhappy face.
When they ask for toys and I am not able to provide, I often remind them that they have a lot of toys that they could play with. They have several few baskets full of toys that need some playing. If they ask me for arcade gaming, petty little stuffs and others, I just tell them that we will try to plan what they want on the next coming salary but if I don’t agree with what they want, I just tell them directly that I am not buying it. So far, it worked with them.
It’s been awhile since I joined Mommy Moments. My last entry was Daddy Moments. After that, I got either too busy, got sick, my children got sick and got busy again. Hayz…what a life!
But anyway, I am glad to be able to join today. Though I missed a lot of interesting topics, I am still happy that I was able to make it this time.
Here are some photos we took when we visited parks in Cagayan de Oro City and Bacolod City. If you notice, Baby Bella is nowhere to be found because most of these pictures were taken when I wasn’t yet pregnant (first two photos), she was young to go with us (second two photos, and I was pregnant with her (last four photos).
